Didactics and pedagogy can be similar in the sense that they both involve the practice of teaching; however, they differ in the sense that:
Didactics is a discipline that is mainly concerned with the science of teaching and instruction for a particular/ any field of study, while,
Pedagogy is concerned with the methods, strategies/ techniques that are related to teaching.
Didactics refers to the theory of teaching. In its generic sense, it involves both the theoretical and practice.
Educational Support
Educational materials mean publications,
guides, calendars, handouts, pamphlets, reports, or booklets intended to
provide information in order to support students’ learning process.
